- Has led UCF to all four of its trips to the NCAA
Tournament (1994, 1996, 2004, 2005)
- Was named the 2006-07 Conference USA Coach of the Year
- Named the CollegeInsider.com Conference USA Coach of the Year
in 2006-07
- Guided the Knights to Atlantic Sun Championship titles in
1994, 1996, 2004 and 2005
- Selected as the CollegeInsider.com Atlantic Sun Coach of the
Year in 2004-05
- Five of his squads have recorded 20-victory campaigns
- Has coached 17 all-conference performers
- Fifty-four of his players have garnered conference
all-academic honors
- At UCF, has recorded a 22-9 record in league tournament games
- Named the 1989-90 NABC/Kodak National Junior College Coach of
the Year at Pensacola Junior College
- Led Pensacola Junior College to a fifth-place national finish
in 1989-90
- Began his coaching career at Iowa, working as an assistant
coach under Lute Olson
- Served as a member of the Hawkeyes’ staff when Iowa advanced
to the 1980 Final Four
